Dunedin’s second International Food Design Conference & Studio
The influence of the human touch is the focus of Dunedin’s second International Food Design Conference & Studio in late June.
Keynote speakers include legendary New Zealand chef, restaurateur, cookbook author and TV presenter Al Brown, internationally recognised designer Marije Vogelzang from the Netherlands and chef Michael Elegbede of Nigeria. They will be joined by guests including author and food writer Lauraine Jacobs, Giulio Sturla from Roots (Cuisine’s 2015 Restaurant of the Year) My Kitchen Rules runner-up Aaron Freeman and Kane Bambury from Amisfield.
Over the three evenings of the conference there will be special dining events throughout Dunedin. On Wednesday 29 June there is a winter street-food market, and on Thursday 30 June there are pop-up experiences across Dunedin. Finally, the week wraps up on Friday 1 July with the conference gala dinner, which promises to be spectacular.
